2015 Schedule

Event Hours – 11:00am thru 7:00 pm, varies by location  – Some venues may have later hours. All galleries will be hosting artworks by local artists, some venues will house multiple artists.

11:00 am – 7:00 pm, MudFire Clayworks and Gallery:

Featuring studio tours and artwork by 60+ ceramic artists. Resident artists and studio members will be working all day – we’ll be giving tours as groups come in.  We’ll also be raffling a free month at MudFire (value $99). King of Pops will be on site selling pops and we’ll throw in a free pop with gallery purchase for the first 50 customers!

11:00 am – 7:00 pm, Atlanta Hot Glass:

Handmade glass for sale, glassblowing demos, refreshments. Atlanta Hot Glass will also be having a raffle for classes at their studio!

11:00 am – 7:00 pm, Paper Trail Arts Center:

Artist Demonstrations: Paste paper painting, Papermaking, Calligraphy, Zentangling and more!

11am – 7:00 pm, Little Tree Art Studios:

Little Tree Art Studios is located in the burgeoning Rail Arts District on the east side of Atlanta, Georgia. We are home to over 25 established and emerging artists working in a variety of disciplines ranging from sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, and textile design. There will be painting demonstrations by Karen Ku throughout the day. Also join us for blacksmithing demonstrations by David Newburn. Pine Street Market and the Mobile Marlay with be serving food and drinks, and grab a beer from the Beer Growler! There will be music by “The Wobbly” at Cutting Edge for the afternoon crowd.

11:00am – 7pm, Garage Door Studios:

Garage Door Studios, a cooperative boutique and arts center located in Tudor Square, features 50+ artists and artisans in their shop complimented by a creative arts center featuring art, sewing, jewelry making and crafting classes for kids and adults. New to RAD – you can find Garage Door Studios at 119A Center St., Tudor Square.

Brook Hewitt, local photographer and Camera Class for Kids instructor at GDS will setup a photo booth 1-4 pm in the art center to document RAD goers. Photos will be featured on our Facebook page after the event. Bring the kids to do some drawing and crafting in the studio while adults browse the shop and enjoy wine and apps from The Market.
