2014 Schedule

Event Hours – 12:00pm thru 8:00 pm, varies by location  – Some venues may have later hours. All galleries will be hosting artworks by local artists, some venues will house multiple artists.

12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, MudFire Clayworks and Gallery:

Featuring studio tours and artwork by 60+ ceramic artists. We will be doing a raku firing from 6pm – 8pm in our back courtyard. During the day we will have demonstrations, and a special visiting artist – Molly Hatch! Molly is offering a demonstration of her work – $35 – and she’ll be discussing her installation at Atlanta’s High Museum. Also, our studio members will be working all day – we’ll be giving tours as groups come in.  We’ll also be raffling a free month at MudFire (value $99)!

12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Atlanta Hot Glass:

Handmade glass for sale, glassblowing demos, refreshments. Atlanta Hot Glass will also be having a raffle for classes at their studio!
Bonus – Atlanta Hot Glass is offering a kids project – a SKULL COIN for only $5.

12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Paper Trail Arts Center:

Artist Demonstrations: Paste paper painting, Papermaking, Calligraphy, Zentangling and get to tour the Rail Arts District’s newest addition!


12:00pm – 8:00pm, Little Tree Art Studios will have demos throughout the day for RAD:

RAD Demos for Sat march 15th include:
Barry Sons (paint), Archer Watkins (relief panels/batik) and Dave Newburn (blacksmith)

The DeKalb School of the Arts is presenting entertainment in the Town Cinema during RAD:
